Location: Morning or Full Sun
Watering: The pouch should be heavy if you are watering properly. Hot weather will require more watering.
Just because it has rained doesn't mean
that water has actually gotten in the pouch. So water even on rainy days.
Fertilizer: Miracle Grow or Peters. Follow instructions on package for heavy rate for bedding flowers.
If the leaves are yellowing increase fertilizer. Also watch for powdery mildew.
It will appear
as a white
powder on the
leaves. On first sign of the mildew you will need to
purchase and
apply a fungicide
labeled for use
on bedding
flowers. A
premixed spray
bottle can be purchased
in the home and
gardening
section.
Remove from hot
sun when
spraying.
